Ha'apai kids Kelefesia island

I just love the photo on the left. I took this photo of these adorable school kids on a small island in the Kotu Group of Tonga. On the right is my favorite island in the Ha'apai Group, Kelefesia. Only one caretaker lives on this island...now if I could only afford to buy it! (October 05)

Vava'u ice cream corner Ha'apai fixer uper

Here are a couple of photos from the Vava'u Group of Tonga. On the left is on the main street of Neiafu. Looks like everyone is into ice cream today. Check out the woman's skirt - it's a woven mat - which is quite the style in Tonga. On the right is a photo of a Tongan fixer-uper. Just kidding. Not even sure where I took this photo! Fatu Hiva Rocks

Bay of Virgins, Fatu Hiva in the Marquesas- a magical, mystical place, visited mostly by cruisers. (May 05)


Double rainbow Daniels Bay, Nuka Hiva

We took very few photos in the Tuamotus because of the rotten weather we had. On the left however is an interesting shot. I was trying to get a photo of a double rainbow and because the wind was howling and the wind generator was spinning madly, the shot came out pretty interesting. The photo on the right is at Daniel's Bay on Nuku Hiva where Survivor Marquesas was filmed. Luckily no visible damage to the beauty of the area was noted. (April 05)

On the left is a nice photo from Hapitoni Bay on the lovely island of Tahuata, Marquesas. On the right are Sam and Sally, our good buddies from S/V Moana after we hooked back up with them on the island of Oa Pou, Marquesas (April 05)
